Richer, fitter, clearer, calmer, happier...
So many people want to sell us stuff to make our lives better. They promise "Just add this thing and all your problems will go away." As a recovering maximalist, I learned that the opposite is true - and much easier too. What if you didn't have to ADD another thing, but rather DROP something - like it's hot?
Because it is.
Alcohol has been one of the hottest topics in research, with crazy results. Especially looking at the most recent findings from meta studies, scientists agree that the best thing you can do for yourself is to DROP the drop. It is toxic in any quantity, and it is a depressant, leaving your mood lower than before - after the fake happiness wears off.
Drop the drop. Do high July.
Deeper sleep. Stable mood. More money. No hangovers. Smelling good. No beer bellies or soft - ummm - eggplants. Finding true courage and confidence. Expressing instead of numbing. Remembering the night instead of cleaning up vomit. No late night texts that you wish to un-send. No cringe videos of you doing drunk things all over social media. No rubbish bins full with bottles and cans. No drunk drivers killing innocent people.
So many of my clients are going into dry - or as I like to say - HIGH July. I had my last drink in 2019 in Italy, and am never going back.
Times have changed people.
People are no longer proud of being inTOXICated, shit-faced, going on the piss, or being wasted.
Ew.
True leaders have a clear head, a happy heart and are not afraid to go against the grain. All puns intended.
